I've got an aNueNue UT-200 Moon Spruce Rosewood tenor that I bought used, with the original strings (Alice Black Water strings.) I find the strings hard on my finger tips and want to change them out anyway because the guy owned it for a year or more, so I'm wondering if anyone has the same uke or similar and has recommendations for strings?
Please and thank you.
Interesting...I have the same aNueNue except that it is a concert. I found the black water strings thinner and softer then some other strings I have tried so I switched my other 2 ukes to the same. I have also heard that Worth Brown is good. It's a journey...lol!
I would try something like Worth Clears. Worth CMs are great for tenors. People think they’re only made for concerts but they work on any scale and are a bit easier on the fingers.
