Introducing: Melodic Mondays

Hi everyone,

I’ve decided to make our regular Kanikapila every other Monday. It wasn’t an easy decision but it’s been getting difficult to get all the sheets done on a weekly basis and all the associated work everyone puts in.

BUT worry not, we’ll still have a live session every Monday. In the gaps every other week I’ll be teaching a cool new session focussing on playing melodies: Melodic Mondays (details below.)

I think many of you will love it and will find to really useful. We’ll start alternating the sessions after Easter with the first Melodic Monday being 5th May. If I’m ever away on a Monday we’ll move whichever session we missed to the next Monday sir you don’t have to wait so long for the next one.

Ever wanted to get beyond just strumming chords? I’m excited to announce a brand new regular live event - Melodic Mondays. Every other Monday I will teach you a nice melody that will be both tabbed and written as notation. We’ll cover everything from Mozart to McCartney! You’ll learn about reading notation and tab, timing, musical directions, finger style techniques and much more.
