New Lessons! Honeysuckle Rose and Moveable Shapes

There are two new lessons up on the courses this week.

Jazz and Blues: Honeysuckle Rose

In this lesson we take a look at the Fats Waller classic Honeysuckle Rose. This one is a really important song to learn and internalise as it exemplifies the use of ii V I chord combinations and the I7 V7 II7 V7 bridge. We’ll also take a look at what extended chords are and a really simple but effective jazz comp strum.

Baritone Ukulele: Moveable chord shapes

This is one of the most important lessons in the Baritone course. I’ll teach you how to use moveable chord shapes to play major, minor and dominant 7th chords all over the fretboard. The worksheets show you the three sets of shapes that will empower you to master the fretboard.
