As it would have been Kirsty's birthday today I've made a Playalong video and sheet of my favourite Kirsty MacColl song; Still Life.
I’m totally enthralled by this song. Kirsty MacColl’s vocals are stunning on the original and the melody is really gorgeous. It was written as the B-Side to her Days single (a cover of the classic Kinks song.) In my humble opinion this hidden gem outshines the A-side.
